Commands

Reply to Customer

Format: @replydock <your message>

When to use: Reply to an existing customer thread

Example:

@replydock Thanks for your message! We'll get back to you shortly.

Start New Conversation

Command: /rdinit

Format: /rdinit <phone-with-country-code> <message>

When to use: Initiate a conversation with a customer

Example:

/rdinit +919876543928 Hi! Your order has been shipped.

Important: Always include the country code (e.g., +91, +1, +44)

Message Flow

Incoming Messages (WhatsApp → Slack)

Customer sends WhatsApp message
ReplyDock creates/updates Slack thread
Message appears with 🟢 indicator and masked number

Example thread message:

🟢 +91 ****3928: Is my order ready for pickup?

Outgoing Messages (Slack → WhatsApp)

Tag @replydock in customer thread
ReplyDock sends message to WhatsApp
Confirmation appears in thread

Example confirmation:

✅ Sent to +91 ****3928 (by John Smith)
